Our Story

The Rabbit's Secret Pte Ltd is a creative company that publishes original children's books and sells cute items featuring unique artwork. Our vision is to bring joy and cuteness into everyday life.

Our official imprint The Rabbit's Secret Stories is dedicated to crafting inspiring and magical stories that transport readers to wondrous world, nurturing curiosity and empathy along the way. We aim to create moments of joy, wonder, and connection, one story at a time.

Joy Ng is the author and artist behind Baby Leek and Friends. She graduated with Second Upper Honours in Chinese Studies from the National University of Singapore, with minors in Philosophy and Japanese Studies. Over the course of her 20-year career, she has served as a professional translator for a game company, organized children's courses and arts events on a national level, and did analytics as Head of Data.

Being creative has always been part of her life, but after her son was born, it went to a whole new level with daily bedtime stories created just for him. The idea of starting The Rabbit's Secret took seed when she realised she had more than 1000 stories recorded on her mobile and wanted to share them with the world. Wishing to publish her own books, she also enrolled in a course on Children's Art Illustration at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and took up various courses online.

She harbours big dreams and is in the midst of working hard for them. She dreams of animating her stories with a team one day soon, and also of the day when a kid will tell her, "I grew up reading your stories."

Most of all, she dreams that the worlds she has created in her imagination will someday be known by many many people, so that the characters and their universe will still be alive, even when someday she is not.
